With AITOC’s Open Social Module the admin is enabled to:
- Add any Open Social Gadgets to your site by their direct URL: you’re not limited to any fixed list of Gadgets;
- Manage the availability of added Open Social Gadgets for each Membership type;
- Test Open Social Gadgets in the Admin’s Control Panel before making them available to members;
- Edit attributes of all added Open Social Gadgets: title, description, thumbnail, screenshot, etc;
- Define whether members will be able to add Gadgets by direct URL and the quantity of URL Gadgets in general and specifically for each Membership. You can use your members to find and test Gadgets added by direct XML URL;
- Define the total quantity of Open Social Gadgets (from your site list and by URL), which each membership will be allowed to add/use. This will let you segment your Memberships even more with corresponding Gadgets;
- Manage Categories for Gadgets, define Gadgets in different Categories;
- Configure Open Social Gadgets for Groups.
And members are enabled to:
- Add Gadgets to their personal page. Each member can create his/her own list of Gadgets and define which Gadget will load by default when “My Gadgets” page is loaded;
- Recommend good Gadgets to their Friends;
- Define which Gadgets from their "My Gadgets" page will be displayed on their Profile page for other users;
